All fees include
- Administration time such as note writing, preparation for sessions and phone calls
- The prices are based on you visiting me in my home clinic in Reigate. If you require a visit to your home address then please contact me for a price. This is based upon your location to reflect travelling time and costs.
Initial Assessment : £140
Comprising of:
- A one to one appointment lasting up to 90 minutes.
- Observation of your child at play/work, informal and formal assessment. Formal assessments will be determined by the initial phone call when booking in the session and may not always be necessary. My professional judgement will be used to determine if a formal assessment is required and which one is best for your child
- Liaison with school/ nursery settings where appropriate to gain a complete picture of your child and their Speech, Language and Communication needs.
- A detailed report about your child’s strengths, needs, assessment results and recommendations for strategies and further input to support your child.
Individual Therapy Session £48-90
Comprising of:
- Either a 30 or 60 minute appointment, I work in blocks of 10 where targets are set at the start of the session and then reviewed in the final session.
- Following the initial assessment a target document will be produced and these targets will be worked on in the individual therapy sessions
- A programme of work will be given to family or staff within an educational setting to continue working on the targets in between sessions to maximise their progress.
- Sessions can take place within the school or home setting. Where in the educational setting it is the parents responsibility to gain permission for the SLT to see the child within the school setting.
Meetings £86 per hour
- I am available to attend meetings that take place within school or nursery settings.
- I will discuss my involvement and any current targets or programmes in place along with the impact your child’s speech, language and communication needs may have within the educational setting.
- The duration of the meeting must be agreed in advance.
- An additional charge of £30 will be required if written documentation is required for the meeting, such as an up to date report.
Demonstration of targets/Programme £77-£86
If the therapy sessions take place within the home setting you are welcome to bring nursery/school support staff to observe a therapy session. If you require an additional session within the school/nursery setting to demonstrate the targets then the above fee will be charged.
The session will last up to an hour and include:
- Demonstration and explanation of targets to ensure staff are aware of how to present the activities and ensure they fully understand what they are working on.
- Your child is required to be present during the session along with the adult who will be working with them.
- I will be able to answer any questions during or after the demonstration session.
Review Appointment £120
Comprising of:
- A one to one appointment lasting up to 60 minutes in the home or educational setting
- Observation of your child at play/work, informal and formal assessment. Formal assessments will be determined by in initial phone call when booking in the session and may not always be necessary. My professional judgement will be used to determine if a formal assessment is required and which one is best for your child
- Liaison with school/ nursery settings where appropriate to gain a complete picture of your child and their Speech, Language and Communication needs.
- A detailed report about your child’s strengths, needs, assessment results and recommendations for strategies and further input to support your child.
- I will discuss with you my professional recommendations for the frequency of review appointments.
Fees will be reviewed once a year in January – last updated Jan 2021
